Seven years ago, at age 50, I was ordered by a cardiologist to begin a serious fitness program. Acting on advice given to me by my G.P’s wife I linked up with personal fitness trainer Barbara Daw I have never looked back …

I was overweight, my lymphatic system was sluggish and I could barely walk up a flight of steps without stopping to catch my breath. Barbara has turned all that around. Within months of embarking on my 3x weekly, hourly sessions with Barbara, I had lost three dress sizes. I felt confident, healthy and, most importantly, gained an incredible zest for life. She completely changed my attitude to fitness training……I now looked forward to my hourly sessions with her. Barbara analyzed my diet and opened my eyes to my seriously bad eating habits. She sent me off to a dietician who had me changing habits of a lifetime. Sugar in tea or coffee, fizzy drinks, cakes, chocolates etc……all had to go….with dramatic positive effects to my health and vitality. I now have a completely different attitude to eating ie healthy options. Each year she runs a Spring Challenge which again has us all encouraged to better our own achievements. This culminates with a prize giving social at the end of each year. I can highly recommend to anyone serious about changing their lifestyle in terms of health and exercise to join the B-Bodies gym experience.
